New Spinach Salad
I made a different kind of Spinach Salad; the previous salad was with bean sprouts and litchis. This time I changed it a bit, I added some baby apples and baby pears. Also I added grated onions and some avocado with a salad dressing.
You will never know how something will taste if you do not try it, therefore you must always try new recipes and change a recipe to make it your own. You must also just remember you may like the dish you are making, but someone else has a different taste to food so maybe they will not like it. That doesn’t say your food is terrible, everyone has a different taste to food.
Sweet and sour sauce, Croissants and sandwiches
On the 28 September me and Sean made a sweet and sour sauce for the chicken, we added chicken, curry powder, paprika, herbs, sweet and sour sauce, water, cream and lemon slices. The sauce came out very nice, we used the cream as the thickening agent because we did not have mazina in the kitchen.
Later I had to garnish a few croissants, decided to garnish it with crushed nuts, cherries and white chocolate.
For a function me and Kieron had to make 100 sandwiches, we took lettuce, cheese, tomatoes and ham to put it onto the sandwiches.

Fun time in the Training Kitchen
Today we garnished the Lamingtons with white melted chocolate that we made yesterday and arranged them on a platter with grapes. After that we made small cocktail breads and put seeds on for taste. Also I had to make crumbs with the pastry shells that we made yesterday for pies(wouldn’t work for a pie)
Fun part was when the power went off, but that didn’t stop us from working. We took candles and lid them to have light in the kitchen, we placed them all over. That’s how you work in the kitchen with no electricity.

Today was fun in the kitchen. . . learned how to make Chicken Balentines.
I noticed that it takes a lot of patience to do this, because your first time is not going to be perfect.
Also i made a chicken stock with the drumsticks from the chicken drummies.
after that i just cleaned my station and helped Keiron with his meat balls.
today the time passed fast, but i learned a lot!!!!
